Here at last! We are staying at Sonia and Kapish's gorgeous little flat that looks so very English. The town they live in is so very cute, I just love the houses; they are all exactly what you'd expect in an English village, roses and all.
We picked up 'Flap', our new, already-named home-on-wheels and have been to IKEA, Primark and Homebase to kit it out with the essentials. She's definitely done a few miles, and is very brown on the inside but she'll be great for the next little while at least.
Sonia and Kapish took us on their tour of London on Saturday, seeing Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Westminster Church, the London Eye and more. Was a little surreal thinking about the history that all these amazing places have. Unfortunately the London Bridge attack happened that night, I think we may have been lucky that Chris wasn't feeling well and that we went home fairly early. We didn't find out about it til the next morning. Definitely a little terrifying, but we are thankfully safe and will do all we can to stay that way :)
Oh, and food tastes normal here! Such a relief :) :)
